New Orleans Wedding: Aimee & Matthew are married!

You won't find another family like this....so close and yet so open with their lives and their love. I met the lovely Robichaux ladies a bit over two years ago at my very first wedding show. Mrs. Pam wanted "day of" help with her daughter's wedding....her first daughter's wedding. She had TWO ladies getting married and they were both incredibly beautiful ladies and weddings! I am truly blessed to know them.

While Miss Aimee was the second daughter of Mrs. Pam and Mr. Eddie, she was just as important and equally as beautiful. This year, it was truly time for Aimee to shine (even if she didn't want all the spotlight had to offer on the altar). Miss Aimee and her beau Matthew were to be married June 7, 2014 in New Orleans at St. Mary's Assumption. And because it was in NOLA, Mrs. Pam needed plenty of help navigating the NOLA wedding industry (she was a pro with the Houma wedding industry). We toured countless hotels for the perfect room block and we tasted so many cakes....but in the end, it was all perfect.

Keeping it personal ladies. Aimee and Amanda's father had passed away not too long ago. They were all really close. Both Amanda and Aimee have a heart of fabric from his shirt sewn into their dresses. Makes me tear up just thinking about it.

Aimee and Matthew are so meant to be. Aimee started this journal when they started dating....it's her love letters to him. How incredibly sweet and AWESOME!!!

One of my very first brides was Amanda, Aimee's sister! These girls are truly reflections of the love and support their parents have given them.

Instead of having all the ladies helping Aimee, we decided it'd be a nice moment for Aimee, her mom, and her sister to have together. It was so sweet seeing these ladies together!

Favors? Who needs favors when you can take cake home!!!???? Great idea Mrs. Pam! Get to go bags for your cake so you're not brining home left overs!!!

In case you didn't notice, Aimee had some awesome vendors! Each of them truly did a spectacular job and I am so thankful to call them friends and coworkers at times like this!
